ABOUT ME
Energy is truly the best field to be involved in! It has afforded me the opportunity to blend my passion for politics, geopolitics, business, and modern technologies. My educational journey at the University of Economics in Prague culminated in both my master's and doctoral theses focusing on energy policy. Academic life has continued to be a part of my existence, as engaging with the younger generation provides invaluable feedback, enriches, and broadens my perspectives by encouraging me to step out of my sectoral comfort zone.
I have dedicated my entire career to the energy sector—working in private businesses, state-owned companies, state administration, and engaging actively with international professional organizations (such as Eurogas or Marcogaz) and intergovernmental organizations (including the EU institutions and the Energy Council, the International Energy Agency, and the Energy Charter Treaty). Beyond founding my own energy consultancy, I co-founded the International Public Affairs Academy in the Czech Republic and currently serve as its Managing Partner.
This diverse experience has uniquely shaped my way of working, making it richer and more varied. Furthermore, international stays and engagements have enabled me to seamlessly switch among Czech, English, and German (when necessary) for consultancy services, allowing me to work with clients from various corners of the globe, for which I am immensely grateful. The diversity of my job has provided me with a much-needed broader perspective, which I continue to draw upon daily and am eager to share with my clients.

Over the years, I have acquired knowledge, expertise, and insights into the energy policy (and policymaking) of the EU, the Czech Republic, and the particularities of the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. I continuously refine my understanding of the global and regional geopolitics of energy, recognizing it as a crucial prerequisite and driver of the energy realities around us.
